Default emeency - too many fishs??!

SO I ordered 30 cardinal tetras from snook 21 but he sent me 50 cards by mistake. My problem is that I want to QT them for 4 weeks before putting them in my 75G show tank with my other 7 4inches discus.
    Two questions:

    - Can 50 cards fit in a BB 20g QT tank? If yes, how many wc should I do per week?
-Can 50 cards can fit in a 75g with 7 discus??!!

    Sounds like a bit cramped...
Waiting for fedex to come in a few mn with my cards...Please someone help me asap!
    Thank you vey much!

Sounds like you need another tank to split them up. I am pretty sure you can trade with someone for something you might need. meanwhile make sure you do daily WC.

Is better than all 50 in your 20g for sure. Don't be worry too much cardinals are small so their bio-load is not that big , ideally will be one fish per gallon, so you are just slightly
if you go 35 for the 20G and 15 for the 10G , just make sure the tanks are bare bottom and no other fish , and at least a 50% WC daily.
If you could find another 20G or a 29-30 G for that matter will be perfect so you can make just a 30% WC fish tend to stress some time when the WC are too big.

I would not worry about 50 Cardinals in a 20 gallon tank to QT as long as you have a cycled tank with adequate filtration and airation. With water changes you will be good. The old suggestion was 1" per gallon. Cardinals are less than an inch and narrow bodied.
