Adult fish from Hans is awesome. That would be the way to start up a display tank- all jumbo adults.

Finally got some photos of my blue pair. The daddy-fish is very protective, and none of last night's photos were any good.
    So here they are:

This is my first good spawn off these two, so I'm super excited about them!
Thanks for taking the time to look at my photos,

Too bad the solid red man has not gotten lucky and the spotted guy horned in. The solid reds would probably produce some awesome fry. I'm partial to the solid reds.

    astrochick,

Great fish and great photos of them. I can't believe how many fry you have at the same time. Feeding, water changes, more feeding , and school too. That's a busy schedule.

It's utterly ridiculous!!!! But very fun and exciting too. I have 4 BBS cultures rotating right now because I have a few hundred angelfish fry as well. Once the kids are a little older, I can throw them all together to simplify things.

Thanks for looking at my photos!

    Lindsay,

Post some pics of your grow out process when you have a chance.

Will do! I even might get some up tonight. That would motivate me to scrub off algae during the WC's tonight
I think I'm going to start a separate thread for photos of each spawn, so there maybe duplication of some of the pics in this thread. But that way there will be better chronology of each group.

    Lindsay,

I'd like to see a few shots of your Angels too.

I will definitely get some pictures of them up soon! I'm hoping to spend some time getting this homestead up-to-speed maybe on Tuesday or Wednesday.

Today is the 3 month birthday of my first successful discus spawn; they hatched into this world on Nov. 22, 2013. There are about 40 that have survived my first 3 rounds of culling, and they range in size from 2-3" and are all eating machines. Happy birthday kids!

    Hi Liz,
I will post one at the very start of the thread on their first spawn. Working on that now!
Trying to get this homestead caught up while I have the chance.
Thanks for your interest and for looking at my photos!

Ryan, neither of the two albinos was in any of those pics. Of the 150 pictures I took, only 4 have either of them….the flash seems to be a big deterrent for them. I found one photo that shows the smaller of the two, and I'll get that up on here in just a sec. Unfortunately, that particular fish may not make the cut on my next cull…….
