Default Malawi predator, hap & peacock tank

My 500 gallon display…the first 3 poor quality pics are screen shots of a video I wanted to post, but I can't figure out how to load the video to youtube from my phone anymore

I have aspirations down the road to convert this tank to a discus display…but for now this is what I am keeping & enjoying...a few select pics here to view, but a bunch of great others in the tank as well.
    Peace!

Hey Danny, do you have the YouTube app on your phone? Great tank and fish BTW and will in time make a great discus tank if you decide to go that direction!

Danny that tank is a real looker! Nice fish my friend. I can see the appeal. A 500 gal tank would amazing to have here for discus. Biggest tank I have ever had is a 180 gal. Whats the tanks dimensions and filtration?

I do have the YouTube app on my phone Pat and thought I previously uploaded directly from my phone picture album but didn’t seem to be able to work it out last night. Will give it another go at work tonight!

Thanks Al. Prior to being given this set up my biggest was a 125gal. The dimensions are 120”Lx36”Wx30”H. It has dual overflows and 2 con-joined 40gal sumps with a wet/dry tower filled with bioballs in each, and a 2500gph return pump in each. There is a 1000W titanium heater in the sump.

Thanks Jake. It’s a very entertaining combo of species to sit in front of. The biggest are 13” beasts. It can get pretty rowdy at times!

Thank you Scott. I enjoy the variety of colors as well. When I kept discus I had 2 each of 4 diff Asian strains from former SD sponsor Dennis. I love color, as does my wife

Thank you Adam. It is an impressive size. I am still in shock that it was given to me completely free!
