Auto Feeders
Hi All,
I work so my Discus have been fed twice a day. They get a lot and look really good; however, I would really like to start feeding them 4 times a day with an auto feeder. My main concern is all that food getting into my canister filter and causing problems. I normally turn filters off when I feed which has worked out really well. The Discus take their time and feed from the bottom. With auto feeders I'm afraid the food will not reach bottom. How do you guys handle this problem with auto feeders???
Thanks,
Penny

Re: Auto Feeders
use pre sponge filter or net or something cover the intake.

Re: Auto Feeders
I only feed when present so I don't do this but I don't know why a programmable timer to turn off and on at feeding times wouldn't work. This is after you use a prefilter of course, as this is always a good idea.
