Gala of the Royal Horses
For you horse lovers Tom and I went to see the Gala of Royal the Horses last night and I caught several video clips which I am slowly uploading and will be posting here. The horses featured were mainly Spanish horses; the Friesian, the Lipizzaner and the Andalusian. The Arabian was in the introduction of the breed due to being one of the foundation breeds of the rest. My videos get better as the night goes on.

Re: Gala of the Royal Horses
Your videos were wonderful. I love the warmbloods, which were all the horses you videoed except the Arabian. My baby sister raises wonderful Hanoverians near Gainesville. They are warmbloods, too. You would probably enjoy her website, HomeAgainFarmsHanoverians.com.
Many years ago, before video cameras were such a common thing, I raised Arabian horses in Texas. They are such wonderful sensitive horses. When Texas went broke in the late 1980's because of oil prices, I did too. You couldn't sell an expensive horse for love or money during that time. I gave my horses to the horsey set in the Future Farmers. A 11 year old girl got my breeding stalion, Sparkle. She went on group rides all of the time. Any other breed of stallion would have created havoc on a group ride, but not Sparky.
As I said, Arabians are wonderful horses. Thanks for the videos.

Re: Gala of the Royal Horses
Susie, I have two arabians now. I have a almost 28 senior named Jake and his son Khayel who is 16. They are both flea bitten grays.

I hope they don't have fleas. I totally love older horses, dogs, etc. My husband and I adopt old St. Bernards. Many only live for a year after we adopt them. We make sure that year is a happy one.
I bred for bay and chestnut colored horses. Naturally, I got my share of grey.
