It has been a while since I posted some "off Discus" photos. Just got back from New Mexico. (Have never driven so far and so long without seeing a gas station!)
These are Sandhill Cranes and Snow Geese at winter feeding grounds. If you look at the Crane's legs, you will see "anklets" of ice from standing in frozen water all night long.

Nice but if you drove from NM to Virgina you should have swung through Dallas and done a discus tour....LOL.

I would have done that for sure.
But I flew to Albuquerque and then drove south to Socorro and Whitesands.
I think I flew over your ranch though!
