My NOT So Little Growout Project

Some of you may know that I received four Altum Flora Christmas week. I placed them in a 40 breeder with daily 90% or better and all the food they could eat. They started out very shy being such a small group and this has continued up until this past week. I sort of figured that as they grew they would become braver and this seems to be happening. All four have grown a full half inch or better since I received them and yes, I verified this with a ruler. So to date three are at four inches or better and one is just over four and a half inches.

They eat everything I give them and they eat small portions throughout the day. I was finally able to get pictures without they running for the hills.

Love the brown shimmer in the face... is that only in the juveniles, or will they retain that? Beautiful!!

Great pictures Pat, Kenny's fish grow like mad, and I really mean they grow. My little guys grow about 1/2 an inch a week. Your guys are going to be very pretty.

A little video to show how these guys are doing. You will still a bit shy but man they eat great when left alone. I measured the two largest ones and they are both four and a half inches. Woot. Music is still being added.

i think i have the same exact QT tank , 55g with 2 sponge filters xlg and the heater with the silly suction cup that never sticks to anything but my wc hose ! arrg. hahaha. aqua clear 110 hob
