Default Using python to drain bleached tank?

Picked up a 220 Gal aging barrel from tractor supply. It doesn't look like there's one of those drain things on the bottom so when I bleach it I will need a way to drain it as well. Can I use my python to drain the aging barrel? If I do this will have to let it sit overnight in prime before using it on other tanks? Is there any dangers of using the python to drain it and then just giving the python a good rinse before using it on other tanks?

Just attach the python the the tap after and let the water run through it for awhile and it'll be fine.

any time. You get the added benefit of sterilizing the python in the meantime

Instead of making a new thread for this question, how much bleach should I have used? I just poured a good amount in without measuring, no bad effects if I used too much right? Also can I let it sit for 2-3 days or if I leave it too long will something happen?

Overnight with aeration is not a bad idea. You could add dechlorinator before draining if your not sure.

Can I let it sit longer than over night? Or would that be a bad idea?
    Thanks

I don't think it matters. Maybe longer rinse/dechlor time similar to soak time.

Reading again I wanted to make sure to clarify. When i said let the water run through for awhile, I was talking about getting the bleach out of the python. The aging barrel is a different story. if you can get at the inside of the barrel, spray it down with vinegar to neutralize the bleach (cheaper than prime or safe) then rinse it.
