Thanks Judi! I'm really proud of my boys, so I'm sure there will be more pictures to come.
One of the best horses I ever trained was an "appendix quarter horse" (QH x thoroughbred). And my first horse was a quarter horse mare.
Do you have any photos of yours that you could share?
NO way, Rick!!!! I can't tell for sure, are they trotters or pacers???
I am super jealous!
I didn't jockey in the races, never got to that point, I did however help train in the sulky. Those are trotters, I had both. Pacers will have hobbles.

Wow, lots of horse people here. Lindsay, my daughter does the hunter/jumper...has since she was nine. She is an adult now and still has her thoroughbred.
Your discus are talking to you....are you listening
I do walking horses in equitation and they're starting dressage with walking horses now. I love my horses about as much as my discus lol.

Lol I agree! Now if I could just get to NADA.

HHhhhhmmmmm, Keith, I'm not sure I would've gone there.
I'd rather smell horsey than fishy ANY day
And I bet I'm gonna get some back-up on this one.
Sounds like you need to do an Orthopedic residency.
You have a bit of a grind ahead of you but each year gets better, especially after all the pre-clinical stuff is done.
Had a 125 gal marine aquarium in a 12x14 dorm room, for four years in med. school. Kept me sane...but that was in the '70s

SIMPLY DISCUS IS AN OXYMORON
I agree! Nothing like the smell of horse flesh...minus the pooh that is. Hey do you ever have to stop at the store before going home from the barn and wear your spurs in as an explanation as to why you're so smelly and dirty? Lol our barn isn't where we live unfortunately.
