I agree 100% that he has a very nice shape for an albino. One spawn I had with a with intermediates I pulled the albino fry and raise them in a different tank from their non albino siblings, and even with them being raised in different tanks the albinos grew allot slower. They may grow much slower but they are worth allot more the the non albinos, that is why I started breeding just albino's for a while I could sell the fry for much more and they were a challenge .

If I had the infrastructure to give them special handling, I would. But for now they will just have to compete as best they can with their wt siblings. I might start culling the wt's more vigorously than the albinos, though. That would give them a hint of advantage. Apparently I'm also totally confused with what's a good body shape in juvies. I wonder if there is a good resource out there for this….for the young ones, that is. I have a pretty good idea what's good/bad in adults.

Lindsay I would not worry to much about body shape at this age I would be culling for deformed fry right now. Now if you have any with a really bad shape then yes.
