i put them together saturday night..

first attempt at K1 filters for my 5 gallon and 10 gallon tanks..

Skip i might be a bit blind but wont your guppy fry get mangled? am i seeing holes without sponge bits or am i just blind ? or maybe you want them mangled, i know mine breed like ….well like guppies ! Phooey on my discus for not eating even the smallest fry, i thought they were perfect snacks but nope.

whelp, it one gets stuck in there.. i will deal with it than...

i have found an adult in the filter one day.. LOL>> it was funny..

if you look at the title.. these are 1.0 filters.. those were 1/4" holes.. to start.. it was size i needed for hose.. BUT>. i was already thinking more smaller holes..

the boxes are $1.79 each.. so its nothing if i chose to make others. .

i decided to let them just float in the water.. its a pain to drill hole them already.. maybe later.. on the 2.0.. i will try again on suction cup
