48 hours in transit and still alive and well?

Placed an order for a pair of Piwow RT and piwow leopards. Was excited all week anticipating their delivery which was scheduled to arrive Tuesday. Took the day off from work to make sure I can spend the whole day making sure they settled in ok. Couldn't sleep a wink the night before. Long story short I received a call from Miranda at 10:30am tuesday morning. By the sound of her voice I knew something was wrong. Surely enough FedEx had some mechanical problems with their plane and so the package was sitting in Indianapolis and wouldn't be shipped til the following day. My heart bout sank when I heard that. This was the first time I've ordered discus on line. Miranda helped me through my nervous breakdown and did everything she could to assure me everything was going to be fine. She and I was constantly calling and harassing FedEx to expedited the shipment. Needless to say I was waiting at their doorstep the very next morning to bring these precious beauties home. They're still skittish and stressed out (like their new owner) but I think they'll make it. This is just a testament on the great care they've received from Chicago discus, and thank you Miranda and Josie for making my first on line order a memorable one to say the least.
Sorry for the crappy photos. Took it from my phone.

There are some great sponsors on this site. I will never order from anyone else besides the ones on here, that's for sure!!! FedEx people did not understand the seriousness of the situation when I told them there we're live discus that was at risk of dying. I was so disappointed with them. When talking with them I was getting the feeling that it was just another package amongst hundreds that was being delayed.
Those discus look so nice.
They look great!
Packaging looks a little worse for the wear but the fish look great. Must have been a tough 48 hours for them. They came through their ordeal like troopers! Thank you, Andy, for putting up with all that FedEx nonsense. Glad it turned out OK. ... Miranda
Andy great looking fish. Wish I had gone in on a couple of Turqs with you. Looking forward to coming over and checking those beauties out!!
