    Came across this strain on facebook and I am HOOKED!!! The search begins! Love the yellow ring, with the tent of red!

    Also got my background painted and all my goodies came in from Foster & Smith! Excited. Next step, paint underneath the tank with a speckle sand color.

    The rose reds will lighten up a little when they do not have fry.

    Yes and the lighting is really helping the SS. I suggest taking a class on photograghy. You can really male fish look better than they are if you know how to play a little with the pic.

    The lighting goes a long way in making the yellow stand out like that. Look how yellow the thermometer looks in the picture. I don't think that's how they'd look under natural lighting. A lot of discus have a yellow or brown tint to their fins when they mature but I've never seen it vibrant yellow like that, so it's really more of a photo trick IMO.
