Hello DiscusWorld!
Hey Guys,
My name is Nikhil , and I currently live in Memphis TN.
My discus hobby started when I was about 14 yrs old ( I was in India-Bombay, back then ). My first discus strain was pair of pigeon blood. ( about 2" for about $65 each ) I managed to keep them for about 15 months before they perished ( I think due to bad water quality )
Fast forward, now I am about 32 and have 2 kids and 2 discus ! ( leopard snakeskin and pigeon blood )
Here are some more details -
55 gallon
driftwood , planted , gravel
cascade 1000
Temp: 85F
Last ( yesterday) I checked all the readings were good. 0 - ammonia and nitrite
One day I want to be able to buy some quality discus from Kenny ! ( Working towards it in terms of understanding how to maintain quality water conditions from this great forum )
