Help to understand cast between ALBINO BLUE DIAMOND and Albino Platinum?
From whom is the breed-Albino Platinum?

Frankly I dont find any difference as well. But, below are the 2 difference suggestion.

1.Pink shades on the dorsal and ventral fin in platinums against very light blue shades on bd's.

2. Prominent red eyes on platinum against bds. other than that no such differences, hope it helps.

I agree. Think they are the same just a fancier name for the price tag. As for the red eyes, they are albinos and all should have them.

AP are AAA ABD are A grade there the same to me I think is a grade difference

I read that platinum was the result of blue diamond X Snow white (not certain this would breed true)
AP is just that the albino form of BD X SW
ABD is just an albino form of BD

but I too would like to understand the lineage of platinum

Albino platinum doesn't have any blue iridescence on its fins based on my observation. I have tested this out by feeding blue-enhancing food to my platinum and they do not show any blue. Albino platinum are usually very white or have a slight shade of yellow. Albino blue diamond, on the other hand, does have a slight blue iridescence.

I believe you are refering to the pupil, while I believe the others were referring to the red eye.
