This video is a few months oldhttps://youtu.be/rXDu64LDT2U

Been a long time since I updated.
All the fish are doing good. I always thought I had 30 discus when I got them but turns out I had 31 lol. Gave away 7 and am left with 24 now. The discus pairs keep spawning regularly. Continuing to do twice a week water changes
Added 200 harlequin rasbora, 100 rummy nose tetra, L340 pleco and a black lancer catfish about 9 months ago. Removed all Congo tetra females and the lovely golden panchax(these predators feast on small tetra)

Sadly most of the rummy nose tetra and some harlequins keep getting washed away into my sump(my overflow box has a baffle around it which also sucks in water from the bottom of the tank) or into the drain pipe when I change water. Will add another 100 harlequins soon. These guys stay close to the surface and won't get sucked in like the rummies.

I've been busy with work and travel. Will post a video soon

I just finished reading this entire thread and really enjoyed it. All of the changes and additions and subtractions and the tank was always gorgeous but I think now it's truly at it's best. Big Gorgeous Discus and all the rest living in harmony. I was glad that the Discus were always the first in consideration.
Thank you for sharing this Wonderful and Exceptional Aquarium.
    Well Done!
