I thought I would share a few shots from the Monterey Bay area, as well as the Monterey Bay aquarium with you all.

The family and I went from the 9th to the 11th, and had an absolute blast!

We swung by San Luis Obispo on Friday:

The entrance of this beautiful old church

Here's a church view. One of the last churches in California with the original frescos according to a worker. Very impressive altar.

Here's an altar piece that was made in Spain in the early 1600's. They have it in their museum.

The Birthday girl. This was her 7th Bday present. She loved it, and got many perks the whole weekend.

At the fisherman's wharf. You can't go to Monterey without visiting the Wharf. Food galore, at a very cheap price.

On to the aquarium, I'm sure many here would appreciate a good fish shot, ha!

These guys were right at the blast end of a strong powerhead, lol. I guess they like flow...

My favorite Part of the whole aquarium definitely had to be the Jellyfish. One of the perks my daughter got for her birthday was actually going behind the scenes of the Jellyfish exhibit. In the back room, you can see their jellyfish breeding facility. It is immense and it is stunning! The staff was so nice, helpful and so informative.

This is the tank we were actually behind of. It is actually much larger than the view pane looks. It was a good 20ft across and maybe 24ft height. It was huge.

Finally, here I am with the kids

I hope I didn't include too many shots. I ended up taking well over 800 shots this trip, and had a lot of editing to do. You can see some more pics Here if you are interested.
