So are you firing up the bbs hatchery soon? The plus about a batch that size is they get a lot of attention and the odds of having problems with them seems to be a lot smaller.

Always a gr8 sight to see the attachment and the swapping of frys between the parents.

Personally, I feel frys from small batches are nutritious and can grow out to real potential imo.

More eggs? If so, I think I'd remove them quickly.

    Lol, egg machine.!

Being a small batch, If the fry's start eating BBS, u can move them to give chance for the new clutch of eggs or just scrap the eggs. Else the parents can very well kill the fry's in another 2-4 days.

Yes I took the eggs out this morning, they where on tap water already and want to give the fry more time to grow strong.

I should really expand on this comment. Allwin is right, that if a pair spawns again while still parenting a prior batch that are also eating bbs the first batch can be removed. I immediately suggested removing the second batch of eggs based on two things. First, I believe this is the pairs first successful spawn and they still have plenty of parenting skills to learn. Second, and the larger reason, the eggs were laid on the bottom of the tank. It is my understanding the odds of having bacterial problems are much greater in this case.

She likes to spawn. Can you tell her to send some her spawning mojo over to a few of my pairs Al. Looking good!!
