Like it says, I was digging thru some old boxes, one said "Fish Books". One in particular had to be the first Discus book I ever got as a kid, somewhere around it's copyright date of 1980. Jump forward 34 years and I can't believe I still have it, lol. As I sat in bed last night reading it, it brought back some memories of being 8 years old and sneaking the flashlight upstairs so I could read after bedtime.

Lol this is a neat find. That discus on the front looks pretty crappy though lol. It's very dark.

One of my first books as well. That's a Brown Discus on the cover...pretty common strain back then. Some good info. Not a "picture" book like most out there...Bill
I remember reading several discus articles by Tony Silva in TFH magazine in the 80s. He seemed pretty knowledgeable at the time. I think he was in Florida back then and working with both wilds and domestics. I wonder what ever happened to him?
I had that book as well when I acquired my first discus in Chicago. I bought the book, then the fish.
