You can't tell much about the size of these adult wilds, but they are big; most are seven inches or more. But even though they could spread out and use the whole tank, they never do. They waggle and peck and mock- charge each other, but they stay in one small part of 120 gallon aquarium. I'm pretty sure I will never understand discus behavior.

They must really like that piece of wood. Nice looking group of fish. I hope you're enjoying them no matter where they prefer to hang out.

Awesome bunch. Schooling is a defense mechanism against predators. I'll bet in time they start to branch out more.

Do you feed them freeze dried black worms? My fish love them. I stick them on the inside of the glass, and wherever I put them, the fish race over there. Maybe if you put some in different places, they will come out of the corner . . .

I feed them mysis shrimp, frozen Hikari bloodworms, Ocean Nutrition Prime Reef, and live red wigglers. They line up in an orderly fashion for the shrimp and bloodworms, graze leisurely on the flakes, and go crazy for the live worms. Then they go back to close formation. Just in the last 24 hours I think a pair have staked out some territory in the center of the tank and are being a little disruptive, which is okay with me..

Those are extremely beautiful wilds. I see you live just 90 miles up the road from me. I'd like to know where you bought them and if you have any intention to breed them.
