The juveniles are growing really fast.
Here's a tank shot of them

An updated video of the fishes eating. They are really ravenous, eating 4 meals a day.

Depending on tank space, (always limited for me) I will grow out smaller fish with big fish. If the sizes are really disproportionate, full growns with 2" or slightly smaller, the big guys really don't seem to pay any attention or have any aggression to the little ones and their not in competition.

The older literature used to mention growth inhibiting hormones from full grown Discus effecting had that could effect growing fish. I have no idea of it's really true or not.

It's been a month since they have joined the adults, and here are some captured moments of them just before feeding.
I usually siphon out any dirt on the bottom before feeding, to make sure they are only eating good stuff.
Still ravenous as ever, they actually anticipate their feeding time, when all of them started coming forward towards the glass.

They have all grown, and still get along very well with each other. Their appetite is fantastic. Here's couple of updated pictures I just took, with the size comparison to my yellow discus, which is 17cm long.
The reds are near adults now, and the blues needs to grow up more still.

17cm is including the tail or just the body?

Thanks. I think the yellow discus is a golden pigeon, but I can't be sure, because I got it from a neighbourhood LFS and it came without label.

Thank you for your kind comments. Just rinsed the box filter, and scrubbed the driftwoods, which collected so much gunk from all the beef heart feeding. Had to do a 200% water change while the fish is house temporarily in another tank. But seeing them grow is rewarding for all that effort.

The little discus have all grown to sub-adults, and 2 blue diamonds have found home, which also help reduce the bioload.
The tank got simplified yet again, and a pot of crypt bonsai got removed. Spacing between the driftwood is increased to allow the discus to swim through them easily.
    Here's couple of images.
