Our first batch of fry from our Stendker Pigeon Blues

We got these beauties from Hans back in march Terry surprised me for my birthday with countless times with eggs by morning they would always eat them . Sunday night we get home and again we have eggs and thinking nothing of it cause they have never made it to the next stage. To our surprise this is what we have today. We are pretty excited but we know we are not in the clear yet but the parents seem to be doing very well so with all hope we will finally get to raise a batch of fry )))))))))

Thanks everyone! Today is day 2 of free swimming ! We had a bit of a problem with them attaching they seemed to have been all stuck to the dark silicone which we will be getting all new breeding tanks when we move with clear silicone so we don't run into this problem again. So today we were abit worried so Terry did some research on a idea to help them attach so by using a turkey baster he sucked up the fry and put them with the parents and he covered the front of the tank with paper towel and bingo every baby is now feeding off the parents))) great job Baby xoxo. The parents seem to be doing great they haven't left each other's side so we are hopefull

Down here in Montreal with envy. I have a pigeon blood and blue diamond couple getting ready to lay again first time was eaten after 3 days.

Not having the best day for some reason the fry are not so much on the parents they are all over the tank the parents are trying to get them all to one spot but there are so many it isn't working why would they attach and then not is this normal
