    Default fish medications

I have three tanks of Discus. None show any signs/symptoms of any illness. Should I occasionally administer parasite/worm meds anyway as preventive measures.

If you got healthy, good quality stock from a reliable, responsible supplier, and they're behaving normally with good color, don't bother doing anything. Suggest that medications in this case should only be used if and when they're in fact needed.

If you fish shows no signs of anything, i would do nothing other then normal water changes.

The only prevention I now take is using levamisol hcl in a quarantine tank for 24 hours before introducing anything new to my established aquariums. (eg. plants or new fish)
