    Your Angels are beautiful, Pat.
Angels are a very close second to Discus as my favorite fish.
In fact, one of the first egg-laying species that spawned for me was Angels - in a 40 gal tank about 40 or so years ago.
I was so uptight about doing it 'right', that once the eggs were laid, I covered the tank completely all around with towels for the first few days, so as not to startle them so they wouldn't eat the eggs. I was really afraid that's what they would do as a means of trying to 'protect' them ! LOL
But hey, I learned as I went, and even managed to raise a few fry from that spawning.
You've convinced me - I'm going to do another Angel tank next - I haven't kept Angels for over 15 years.

Thanks Paul, I am finding them addicting but not fussing with them to much either. I figure they will laid and hopefully deal with the me and Tom moving about the house.

I had the very good fortune to see these very same angels at Pat's. Pictures cannot do them justice. They are very beautiful and very big! Amazing fins and filaments. I got to see all of Pat's fish and also took some away back to Miami. Not angels but four Altum Flora Discus. Pat has an amazing way with fish and her wilds are stunning. Rufus

Rufus, it was a pleasure to have you over today. Next time you will need to put up your feet and sit a spell. Play with horses and maybe some of the wild chickens will show up.

Marnie, while I like Barb's flat cones I would rather not stare at them. I will leave that to the fishes hehe.

Pat, next time I will! I just wanted to get my babies home and make sure that they were settled and that I had lots of time to spend with them as they adjusted to their new home. They are being spoiled. They keep look for me to feed them but I will keep them on a a diet today and let them get used to the feeding schedule which is about four times a day when I am home. I saw the wild turkeys at your place. Stopped to watch them parade around. Beautiful. It was a lovely day for me as well. Rufus

This video is posted above. If you look close you will see the tube down on the largest angel and a hint of a tube on one of the others. So betting these guys actually did spawn but I sure did miss it if they did.

Maybe Rufus, have tubes showing tonight yet see no indication of prespawning activities.
