My first spawn!
So I've noticed that there were 2 discus in my tank, a golden and an albino golden that had been unusually aggressive and staying in one part of the 125. Today I came home and started the water change and the female (I think) albino began to peck at the siphon when I got near that end of the tank. Sure enough I moved the terra cotta pot with the planted sword and there they were, a clutch of eggs. They were definitely not fertilized as they were white and moldy but I was pretty excited none the less.
I wasn't ready to breed discus yet as I have only been doing this a little over 2 months. Part of me wants to move them and set up a QT tank to see what happens and see if they will confirm. Can anybody walk me through this please?!

this is a quick pic I took of the alleged pair. The "male" is the one in the background and is my largest discus. They are really not happy with me as I vacuumed up all of the dead eggs. They are still holding down the fort in that corner.

Cngrats. At least they look like a compatible pair if they do indeed prove to be a pair.
