Wow - Chicago Discus - Wow

I just had to jump on Josie's Summer Sale. No way the prices could be beat and the video of the discus looked amazing. I ordered two of the Mandarin Passion and two of the Super Checkerboard Pigeons. Josie and Miranda surpassed my expectations this time. I usually like to wait a few days to post pictures so the discus get settled and color back up. No waiting this time. Here they are after just 30 minutes in the tank.

12 hours in the tank now. Guess they like the water in the South...........you think? Might have to get a video of the Checkerboards in a bit.....the two males are trying to decide who the odd man out is.

Thanks, my wilds get the same food as my domestics. I don't do anything differently with wilds except the tanks aren't bare bottom. They have sand and manzanita. I feed my discus a variety. Freeze dried blackworms, tetra color bits, beefheart flakes from Inland Empire and more. Just started trying Forrest aqua bits.
