Pat's Altums

I received these guys from John (snookn21) this morning. These guys about about nickel size without fins and will be my first time with altums. So far so good. They are in a 40 breeder with mostly RO and a dash of tap. TDS is 27.

That's my plan Trung as it will make it easier to grow them out. It is my first time with altums so I will be taking it slow and easy.

they are looking good already. i been buying altums for years trial and error. and i gotta say john snook21 has the best altums thus far from all the vendors i have bought from.

i also buy mine from john a year ago. same exact size as yours. and a year later and they are doing great and got a to a decent size.

Those look good. I bought 20 from snookn21 and only have four healthy ones remaining after about a month. Mine arrived pretty beat up and some had fin rot remaining from what I can only assume was Columnaris. Despite treating mine with Furan 2, I still lost many of them. I lowered my TDS as well with RO water, but not as low as you. Maybe that will be the difference. Good luck with yours.

They definitely do Dick, seems like angels are mostly fins...more fin then they know what to do with.
