Sometimes i'll just dump some in the tank and when i check at a later time it's gone. Other times I'll do this, but they won't eat any. They're just very stubborn, but curious too. Also they tend to huddle in a group vs. moving around individually in the tank. I've also covered the sides and back of the tank. I just need to be patient I think and let it happen naturally. I'm learning alot about them and their needs so it's on going. Altums can be tough, but also hardy in the same respect. They are beautiful fish though and someday I would love to breed them. Thanks for all the help Pat. I'll keep you posted. Oh BTW are you using any sand or gravel in your tank?? Mine is bare.
