Aw Jeff, sorry to hear but for the short term you are making the best call. Hope all goes well with whatever you decide and if you decide to move to Florida I will not be far from you. Best of luck buddy.

Hello friends,
With great sadness I will be shutting down and selling at least 90% of my fishroom. For those who don't know, my company decided they are better off in Florida (so am I), and at the end of this year I will be either unemployed or moving to Florida. In any case, I will not have the time to care for my fish the way that I do now because of traveling back and forth setting up the new facility and job hunting. And with that said, I do not want my fish to suffer because of this.
I will be selling off fish first (sorry, no shipping) and then equipment. Here is a link to what I am starting to sell.

When I find the time to re-establish my fishroom sometime next year, I will just start over. So please, anyone interested in anything, let me know and we can establish a time to look at what I have. I really have to much to list.
You can contact me either here with PM's or text/phone 847-401-8572.
Thank you all, it has been a fun ride.

You will probably find out that you like Florida. We vacation there every couple of years. Parts of it are very nice.
Good luck.

Sorry to hear this but hopefully you will move to Florida. It's a wonderful place to live and we have many discus enthusiasts. Best regards. Rufus

Thanks everyone. I am positive that I will get back into discus once I get settled.
I do love Florida (just got back from a nice a vacation there, as I been there the last 5 out of 6 years) and plan on retiring there some day. I have 30 days to let them know if I am going. It is up to the wife at this point.

LOL....Jobs are hard to find but wives are easy......

There are plenty of people here who may be willing to fish-sit if you have certain pairs or fish you don't want to give up.
The good news is I may have someone to split shipping costs with one day!
Sorry about the news Jeff.
I agree with john where jobs are not plentiful these days. And both you and your wife find it hard to determine where to call home.
Although you have a great passion for Discus...they can always be replaced.
I really like nice warm continuous sunny days but what I call home has 4 seasons which I prefer.
30 days is not long...so the best of luck and choose what is most important to you and your wife.
