As an added bonus Barb from Delightful Designs Discus Cones have generously donated two of her beautiful hand made breeding cones to each of the 3 winners and she has included shipping.

    Pat,

Thank you very much for organizing these 3 groups of auction fish as always. Happy bidding to all and thank you all for your support to SD in advance!

Here are some quick tank pics of them after being tanked for 2 days only. Since I have all 12 SD auction fish in the same tank I will post this similar set on all 3 auction threads.

    during feeding, already eating great.

    Thanks,
    Kenny

Greg, it is public or sealed bid. Keith's bid is fine.

Just to be perfectly clear, there are TWO forms of bidding in the 3 current auctions.

You can do an "Open Bid" directly here on the thread, where you can see what others are bidding, and try to outbid them publicly,
Or, you can do a "Sealed Bid" which gets sent to the moderation team only, and the general public does not know what you have submitted.

You can do both forms of bidding at any time.

If you have any further questions, or feel that something isn't clear, please let us know.

Just curious if we are able to know the highest bid. I hate to say I'm not a fan of the sealed bid just for tracking purposes. If there was away to make an anonymous bid, but still pop up in the forum to keep the bidder hidden I could understand. What is the point of having an auction with a sealed bid.

I Came up with the idea to add a sealed bid option for several reasons...

    1) it keeps it interesting...It adds a twist of mystery to it...no one will know until the end whether the sealed bid was higher or the online auction.

2)Some people are busy. They may not be able to follow the auction...but want a chance to win where someone wont outbid them in the last moment.

    3) Kenny and Forrest have generously donated these fish for Auction and we want to generate as much as possible....hopefully someone sends in some high ones!

So the short of it is...if someone wants one of the sets of fish ..send in as high a sealed bid as you can...then watch the online bids.If the online bids are higher than your sealed bid...bid online higher.

This format increases your chance to win a group or groups you want...and can increase the revenue received.

    HAVE FUN!
    Al
