Al, this is a group of Tefe's from the North Rio Tefe. Most of these are young sub-adults from Mark from this past wilds season. I will be adding another group of four from Mark from the same locale.
Wild Discus season is upon us ...Anyone planning on getting any? I see both Mark and John have fish availible or coming in soon.
Any one planning on getting some wild discus?

These are really Nice fish Pat and Larry. Real gems! Thanks for sharing!
Anybody have any of the deep red "curiperas" or Largo Grande fish? How about really spotted Greens?
Its been along time since I have seen any fully spotted greens. There used to be a seller here, Alberto at Aquatechnics, he had some of the nicest Red Spotted Greens from the nanay river in Peru...
He is out of the hobby lats I checked and its been years, but his website is still up...

I am continually fascinated with wilds. Maybe next year. Gorgeous to all of you that have the. I have seen Pats and even the pictures as beautiful as they are don't do them justice. Rufus
Pat a couple of mine look greyish like this, i thought it was me being a bad discus keeper LOL what makes them so different in color I am wondering? its really nice i love it but some are more brown/green and vibrant and some are silvery, its fascinating and yet almost all of mine are Green Tefe, Two huge red Nhamunda and yet such difference in colors! think this is what i love best, the variety

Marnie, the Tefes which has a grayish or whitest overcast may actually turn that beautiful green color as adults. So you are not being a bad discus keeper.
