    Default Belgian Discus Show

I was fortunate enough to be asked to judge again at the 9th Belgian Discus Show over the last weekend.
I took a few pics and here are a few of the winners ... I thought the standard of discus was generally very good. Many congratulations to Clive Brampton for carrying off the Grand Champion with a rather nice Ricky Lim snakeskin.

Thanks for sharing Paul, I am guessing the indentation in the forehead might have cost that spotted BIS?

Nice Paul, Clive and Ricky did very well at the show. Some nice wilds too.

Congrats to Clive, he must be a happy man.

If the spotted had a better head and therefore was better proportioned it would have had a very good chance at BIS, as it is, it is still a very nice fish. 2nd and third in striated were also very, very good ...

i loved that spotted !!!! ,though i do see the indent. My best fish of my own personally - spotted with ring gene, has an indentation so im hoping to breed and get the offspring without it but with the same amazing roundness and the sharp color

loved the striated champion, wow what a fish !
