You can try a space heater or some form of gas or oil burning heater
I need a way to heat my garage up economicaly. I live in central Florida. I have seperate heaters in tanks. Breakers get tripped all the time and power bill may make my wife kick fish and i to the curb. Just thought i would get some input. Garage is enclosed no windows. Thanks for your input.

gas is most definitely the answer for this problem
I dont have ventilation in there. What size gas heater for 2 car garage. Dont want to burn house down lol.
Its a direct vent model you just need to cut an opening in the wall for the vent. The size I posted would work perfectly, just add some insulation to the walls, etc.

Don't know how cold it gets were you are I'm in Dallas so I would guess it it similar, my garage walls are insulated, the attic is not. I may add some if I need to but for now this is working for me. http://www.walmart.com/ip/Lasko-Elec...51320/16503224
I also have foam insulation (sheets) cut to fit into the panels on my garage door. on nights when the temp get down in the 38+ range the electric heater alone keeps the garage at 65-68 degrees. on the nights that it has dropped below freezing I have a dearborn heater that I hooked up to the gas line feeding my hot water heater. I will run it for about an hour on high before going to bed and turn it off and leave the electric heater on. Temp has never fallen below 65. you might be able to find one on craigs list in your area but that will only work if you have a gas line in your garage.
Show a picture of your setup and you might get some different suggestions.
