Discus catching a cold.

One of my Discus is not eating. I am trying to figure out what was different.

I have a 120g. barebottom tank with some decorations. I use the hose that is hooked up to the sink and flush out all the crap to one corner to syphon it out. Maybe last 10-20 secs. Could I have stressed them with the colder water? If so, what would be the symptoms?
