you are getting adult discs right?
Hello guys,
I mounted the aquarium this week, the nitrogen cycle is already done a long time but was planted this week.
I am counting on the discus here a month.
Here are some pictures:
Hope you enjoy it, and waiting to see the outcome of the flora

you are getting adult discs right?
~JACKLYN~
Already have 6 wilds, why???
just making sure bc planted tanks are hard for growing out young discus....the tank and background is absolutely stunning btw. love the dark substrate.
~JACKLYN~
Thks, I am having problems in heating the water, the temperature is around 24šC ....
I have my wilds for now in aquarium with 240L for now until i manage to heat the main aquarium ....
Today I lost one of my wild .... It had two with 14 to 16 cm and four 16-18 cm ... I lost one of the small and I am concerned about the other because de the bigger ones donīt let him eat...
Other thinkg is my PH is allways crashing.... have to change every day 10L of water to maintane PH at 6.5....
Lot off views and any coments...
Piraya, what is your kh, do you use peat? Peat lowers your ph, but it also stabilizes it. On the other hand low kh and large stock, which in the end means high nitrate can crash your ph.
Nice looking tank. TFS

The tank as been setup 2 weeks ago, did some test before doing the water change today.
PH=6.6 KH=1.12 GH=5.6 NH3/NH4=0 NO2=0 NO3=50 ppm
Think the No3 is a little high....
But this was before water change...
Well there you go, high ntrates +low ph and voila, you have a ph crash. High nitrates must have comed from tank cycling. Just do wcs to lower your nitrates-
For some time i noticed that something wasnīt ok with my discus and based on the symptoms think they have:
Chilodonella Parasite
How do you sugest i treat them?
In the tank have corys, helenas and ramirezi....
Your tank looks very nice, I am sure the discus will love the space.
However, you said you change 10 L per day on a 240L tank that adds up a total of 70L per week = 29% per week
That is very low amount, you need to increase your water changes routine
Here is a video of my 3 fish a month ago.
