I had the pleasure of meeting Roland and got 4 of these fish about a month ago. Here are a few recent shots of the fish which I believe are now about 3 months old or so. The photos aren't the greatest; but gives a good idea of what they look like right now.

Hi ED, Got your PM and email. Yes, Friday pickup is fine ! See you soon.

LKSDRINKER, thank you for posting pictures of the Juveniles. They are starting to get their spots and color. I am also curious how the 2 crosses would look like when adult size. Please do post some pictures of them as they grow bigger. They have beautiful erect dorsal fins. They got good genetics to begin with. Both from Kenny/ Forrest Stock.

They are beautiful fish Roland; and those pictures really dont do them any justice! I am however a bit surprised at the amount of peppering I'm seeing considering they are in a bare bottom tank that had no background. Just about a day or so before I took that picture I slid in a piece of white cardboard behind the tank as a background to see if that might change anything.

I purchased a batch from Roland back in Feb and figured I would update on the progress of this cross. The fish are starting to color up but still have a ways to go. I ended up with about 50% snakeskin and 50% wild type which I think is what would be expected given the parents. Some are almost perfectly free of pepper and some are moderately peppered, again as I had expected from a PB non-PB cross. They are very nice looking fish and I would suggest to anyone to purchase from Roland as he was very professional and a genuinely nice guy to talk to.

Here are a few pictures though I warn when you put a camera in my hand nothing good comes of it.

The spots came in first and over the last week or so the white/blue body color is starting to fill in nicely

The snakeskins would not stand still for me to get a decent picture. They are coloring up more slowly and just now starting to get their spots.

Hi Jeff, Thank you for posting updated photos of the Rafflesia Cross. Appreciate it very much ! They are growing up nicely with their spots except for some peppering as expected for Non PB Cross.
The latest batch are all sold out. I will post again whenever a new batch is ready to go to new homes.
    Thank you again !
    Roland

Got a few shots of the fish I picked up from Roland back in April and just thought I'd share. I think they're coming along nicely with only a bit of peppering.

Hi Jeff, thanks for posting updated photos of the Rafflesia Cross.
FYI, I have stop Crossing the PE with Rafflesia.

I will be having a Red Eagle X Rafflesia fry , this time a Pure Red Line Cross so hopefully no more peppering.
Will post some baby fry pix soon.

Roland, I'm new to SD, but live in Dumont and would love to buy a couple whenever they're ready for sale.

    Thanks,
    Stefan

    Hi Stephan,
Sure ! I will certainly post when they are ready for new homes. The frys are getting bigger ! Feeding with BBS and starting with micro pellets and beef heart mix.
Will continue to update pix on their growth.
