    Default Wild strains in Ecuador?

So according to wiki the range of discus doesn't extend into Ecuador, but the general consenses is that the range go substantially larger than shown on that map.
People have mentioned doing small collections in Ecuador and Im curious as to what rivers and how far up they managed to pull.
I'm assuming the Napo River is the primary source, has anyone fished/pulled any rivers west of the Andes? Have discus made it that far?
What about San Miguel, Curaray, Esmeraldes and Tigre?
Basically if someone has a better zone range map than the one on simply or wiki, that'd be awesome!
    Thanks a bunch

Yes there are wild discus in Ecuador, they are an introduced population. Iquitos Peru also has an introduced population of wild discus. According to Andrew Soh there is a domestic wild discus population in some water reservoirs in Sigapore. In Southern Venezuela there is a natural population of wild discus, but it is really hard to find information about them.

I tried doing a search but couldn't find it. I know Tony Silva did an article for FAMA years ago about the wild discus in Ecuador. Good Luck
