BH Recipes suggestions

From reading all the different beef heart recipes, how does this look, what do I need to add or change



4 lb. beef heart

1 lb. shrimp

1 lb. spinach

3 bananas

Multivitamins

Missing Garlic

It is fine. Garlic is useless other then the taste...LOL. Lots of people think it will get rid of internal parasite which I guess it will IF you crush it directly into the beef heart when you are ready to feed it and it is a 50/50 mix of garlic and BH....but putting it in a BH mix is useless. It has to be fed immediately after being crushed.

Johns Correct here regarding parasites. The " active" ingredient in garlic breaks down rapidly. It needs to be fresh if you are using for that, and its questionable just how effective it is, or against what.

When garlic is added to BH mix or other fish foods. It acts as an attractant. A few tablespoons garlic powder per 5-6 lbs mix is what I use.

I wouldn't worry about the Paprika or Astaxanthin Powder either unless you just want to.
