I would suggest a large WC to remove any possible contaminants from the wire mesh. Please note this is a pure guess on my part.
I have an adult checker pair spawn about 30 hrs back and I covered the cone with a GI wire mesh till yesterday night it was ok this morning I see one of the Adult Discus is tilted at an angle of 45 % and is on the top of the aquarium, his movements are slow and one fin moves after sometime . I was think he might have got hurt with the mesh cause both the guys were very playful till yesterday . or is he caught some disease , do I need to remove him to another tank. I have taken out the mesh though.Pls help I do not want to loose this pair. Thanks

thanks Pat
I have you used galvanized wire mesh in the past without problem, but who knows where the wire might have been imported from or what was used to make it. A big WC is pretty much always a good corrective step for any problem, so hopefully you're already well on your way to doing it. Best of luck with them.

Base on the other post this is nothing more than the pair fighting. The weaker fish will often hover near the top of the tank. So unless a picture or more info is offered I am stoppnig here.

I did the large water change and the discus who was affected ate up all the eggs .I think maybe they were not fertilized properly ?
There are several reasons one of the parents may eat the eggs, young inexperienced pair, one or both parents want to spawn again, water parameters are off etc, etc.
