Default When Using salt in the tank not for dips what is the highest dose succesfully used.

I was reading on a page that 1% salinity will kill any strain of columnaris. and that 0.5% will take most of them. So the question is like in the title.

How long can a discus survive in 1% salinity and alsp 0.5%.

I know discus cant take salt in long term. but what is considered long or short except for a dip.

Also a forum user called miamiheat used a big consentration, but no information on how succesfull it was.
