spawning cycles

forgive me its been awhile. what is the average spawning cycle of discus and angelfish?

my discus put eggs down sunday and ate them Monday night.

angels put down eggs Tuesday but the male is not participating.

grr.

discus don't surprise me, they are not settled into their new tank yet and are still acclimating to my water. it will take them some time to relax.

angels successfully hatched eggs in the community tank a few years ago. I had tried pulling them and they did the same thing, female spawns male watches. so my game plan is to give them time and hopefully over the course of a few months the female will kick his butt and remind him of his part in the whole deal.

but yes, how often do they usually spawn?

My pair of discus did it about 7 days apart, until the 4th time when they actually got it right and started taking care of them.
