Thanks, yes she is! After our youngest moved out, we decided to get her. I think she's not quite 2. She's only recently become comfortable entering the "den", it has a sliding glass door to the carport, and she is slowly beginning to check out the fish. They still scare her a bit, but I know that will change.

Very pretty Kitty! I have two that are eleven. They have lived with fish tanks all their lives and they don't seem to be interested in the fish at all. I have eight tanks. Some at eye level for them but they still don't seem to notice.

My wife and I have had cat's most of our lives together, as well as dogs, fish, frogs, and of course kids. Before this one, we took in a male black cat that my oldest could no longer keep. He was a bit odd, but lived to be be about 12 before he could no longer take care of himself. At one point I figured out my fish were spooked because he would get up on the tanks in the middle of the night and fish through the 1-inch space behind the glass top. The claw marks across my big snakeskin gave him away. I never lost anybody, but I learned to close the door.
