    Yes foster pair have about 30 fry . But it's good pair specially female . I used that . I lost about 40 fry from 300 and I used pair for another cross

    I am a little confused as to the offspring here in the F2. As the parents are het SW, 50% of these fry should be brown and or pigeon based. Maybe they are and its just a product of the photography?

    Probably a bit young to judge yet, though i thought there is some subtle variations already. I was thinking around 25% brown based ones, the rest white hets and pigeons. But who knows what recessives will spring up this generation, so common in discus these days?!

    Thanks for the update Amr. Great looking discus, you have done well with them. Regarding the results, pretty close to what I would expect from what I know about pigeons and snow whites, except no brown bases. That's a little surprising, running the numbers I came up with 1 in 16 should have a brown base, most likely they would look like striated or spotty pattern turquoise discus. So, what do you intend to do with these f2's?
