Need a better shot of the red/white, the orange is just a basic orange striated pb called by any of a 100 names. Can I ask, where are you located? You will have much better luck growing these little guys out in a group of five or better and in a BB tank.

Personally I would call the one on the left Lucy and the one on the right looks more like a Brutus.

They are both PB based for sure. Brutus seems pretty standard PB Red/Checkerboard/Spotted/every other name people have made up. It looks a bit young and I suppose its possible it could develop more of a red base than orange base and the white spotted pattern may or may not cover the body fully. The picture of Lucy is too hard to tell exactly what it is.

    Hi guys and gals

Here are some more pics of the 2 for you

    Lucy

    Brutus

nc0gnet0, I'm in Adelaide Australia, the 2 are about 6-7cm I would prefer gravel to a bare bottom tank but thanks for the tip as this tank is in my living room. I was hoping to get a few more my tank is just under 5ft long 1ft wide and 2ft deep.

SNap0283 , I think you picked good names brutus is definitely the boss, Lucy is more the quiet one but comes out her shell at feeding time.

How many do you think i could fit in my tank i was thinking of aiming for 5.

    Thanks so far

The types you have in these pictures are generally some of the hardier strains for non bb tanks and probably have the best chances of growing out well; Pigeon Bloods and Red Turquoise. Keep up the water changes!
