what makes an altum flora? i see some with strong blue base and darker lines (like the ones in recent shipment from kenny, march17) and others with lighter blue base and red lines (uncle sam's and pictures in this thread).
is it the lighting? mature of age or different breeder that i'm seeing? i really like the lighter blue base with red lines altum flora ones though. thanks

Pat's look a lot like my Brilliant. Was one of them developed using the other?
    Thanks

I noticed each breeder has their own version of altum flora but there's one thing in common of course the high body.

Here is mine from Kenny/Forrest Teo. He is slower with his growing but is really coming along. I always wondered about the high body. Very interesting.

I am always interested as to why the male Turk type Discus often show more intense red colour than females. In most red Discus it is the other way around.

i guess the commonality is the high body, or else they basically are variations of blue and red turq.
