    This is a really cool DIY project for those of you that want to take some neat Star shots...

    Pretty cool. Being that I have so much gear already I'd much rather do this in post processing instead LOL but for someone that likes small builds its pretty cool. You can get the same effect by taking stationary images much like you would for a timelapse and stacking them so the stars start to trail. The vortex would just be a simple effect put in afterwards. Lots of creative people out there. The vortex is pretty cool though!

    Heres one I did, obviously needed a wider lens but star trails none the less.
