May i ask a stupid question which i shoud propably have asked before.why do you keep your heater on the floor i have seen it a few times before.is there any specific reason?

I keep mine near the floor so that when I do large water change, I don't have to turn it off/on.

Thanks guys! I'm hoping for fry! Time will tell. Hi Quintin, I leave the heater on the floor so 1) the females will be less apt to lay eggs on it and 2) when I do a water change it stays below the water.
