first, I am not qualified to judge a discus but am trying to learn. I was wandering why a fish that is out of round on the horizontal axis is considered bad but if it is out of round on the vertical it is alright.

That fish looks beautiful to me though.

It's just a birth defect that has been bred into them,called bulldogs.

Yep. Some people like them. Personally I hate them. They pop up from time to time n my spawns and I cull them.
