Metro has been used to treat discus for decades. The source of the drug isn't important, purity is. I've always purchased it in powder form from Ken's fish, cheapest source I found.

Kens is out of stock, I purchased mine at Jehmco.com for $12 per 100 gram plus about $6 shipping.
