I sure hope whomever bought that fish intends on breeding it. I would try to stabilize that

Pat Josie miranda whoever would like to chime in. I wanted to piggyback pats halo comment with a question pic and boast of my last order from Chicago. As most of you know I purchased two of the cup crosses from
The last batch. Although they are a tad smaller and different in color than this batch seems to be they are gorgeous I. Their own right. Anyways... The reason for the post is that these two that I have have two of the most gorgeous perfect halos. These are my first two ever with a halo so I don't have any live comparisons but the halos on them are outstanding. Anyways I wanted to know. Based on pics I've seen most halos seem to be one color on the outer edge. I don't know how to describe this without it being whacky but my two seem to have almost like a triple halo. It goes with this like powder speckle blue then black then a lighter orange with blue speckle. Like I said hard to describe i will try to take pics but I suck with the pics and really I don't think a pic does justice maybe I will try a video.

    Thoughts on this tri halo??

Told you the pics would be crappy and that's my fathers bald head in the back. Haha!!

Just tried to capture some of what I mean. It looks dull and not so impressive in the pics but I assure you it's quite amazing live and in person!!!

Hey Phil, Lawrence told us that it sometimes just takes time for the Curipera's color to come out. Your discus are living proof. The halos are coming out now and the color is changing. It has taken, what, a month or so? I think you have some amazing fish... Miranda

Oh I would concour! I am in love with these fish! So unique and ever changing. Most interesting fish I ever owned!

Is it common to have this multi halo I speak of or is that quite unique?

Anything about wild cross have two way, either let the color show natural or with coloring such as red color enhancer or hormone.
I prefer non hormone and color at all. This is why the color keep on changing,,,,,,,,when you changed water, color become fade ,look not so beautiful ,but after few hours ,stable ,,color back again.
